We're seeking dedicated, skilled full-stack Software Development Engineers (SDEs) who are passionate about crafting innovative, mission-critical solutions for high-volume applications and services. This role offers a significant opportunity to shape the design and optimization of AWS Marketing systems. The SDE role may involve working on projects centered around Lead Management and Operation (LMO) and Marketing Response Center (MRC). The Lead Management and Operations team strives to deliver top-quality leads to the sales organization by implementing a revamped lead-to-revenue process to align sales and marketing KPIs. This includes developing data-driven lead scoring models and implementing technology solutions within our Native Amazon Web Services (NAWS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to support end-to-end lead management. The AWS Marketing Response Center team focuses on understanding customer needs, educating them on AWS benefits and services, and running a strategic project that utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML). This project aims to revolutionize customer engagement by providing a personalized experience that facilitates the onboarding of prospects and customers onto the AWS Cloud.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
