As a Software Development Engineer within the Customer Trust & Partner Support (CTPS) organization you will be actively working on systems and features that accomplish this for buyers and sellers on Amazon.com every day.The Core Services Actions team is responsible for a suite of services that enable teams across CTPS to accurately enforce, investigate, and reinstate Buyers and Selling Partners. The outputs of these services are used to power analysis and ML training that drives the virtuous cycle of enforcement and more accurate detection of bad actors. We increase trust in Amazon by ensuring the retail experience is free from known risk and policy violations. We partner with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and investigators from multiple organizations to keep Amazon and its' customers safe.You will be responsible for solving complex problems, building services that can scale to thousands of requests per second, deploying globally available services, and building products that keep Selling Partners, Buyers, and Amazon safe from bad actors. We leverage the latest AWS technologies to build fast and scale. The team wakes up each day driven to ensure our Buyers and Selling Partners are confident in the Amazon shopping experience.Key job responsibilitiesCollaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.Design and build innovative technologies in a large scale, distributed computing environment.Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.2+ years of non-internship professional software development experienceProgramming experience with at least one software programming language.Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholdersKnowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.Experienced with building high volume, low latency distributed systems in production.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
