Amazon Software Dev Engineer II, Amazon in Seattle, Washington
Description
In the Universal Brand Catalog (UBC) team at Amazon, we want Amazon to have a complete awareness of all brands on Earth. We aggregate and identify all brands along with complete and accurate facts. Our mission is to establish the world's most comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date universal brand catalog, setting new standards in brand discovery and coverage.
Universal Brand Catalog is responsible for the modeling and curation of the largest brand catalog in the world which directly powers any brand experience across Amazon. We leverage advanced AI technologies, including the latest Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI (GenAI), to enrich and expand Amazon's brand selection in alignment with consumers’ interests. We solve challenging technical problems such as extracting structured data from unstructured content, automating decision making about brands using various ML models, big data computation and high scale service design to meet our charter. Teams across Amazon consume brand datasets and services to improve brand and product information, search and discoverability, brand protection and delivery experience.
In this role, you'll collaborate with teams across Amazon to drive customer-focused solutions and amplify the impact of your work on our global customer base.
