To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building the sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the Lunar Surface. As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will help lead solutions for various spaceflight systems engineering challenges as a Mission Engineering and Integration Flight Planning Responsible Engineer (RE). The Flight Planning RE is responsible for supporting all our Phase Leads in developing the Concepts of Operations across all phases of the crewed and cargo lunar missions. The PSEIT Mission Integration Planner role will own the overall Timeline process across all ConOps Phases and will be responsible for ensuring accurate Cameo Model(s) outputs and development with implementation teams. You will work with systems engineers and multiple technical discipline engineers to ensures that there is cross-functional input and accountability at each phase to deliver aligned and feasible timelines that reflect system capabilities and limitations and/or help define new requirements based on operational constraints. The role will be accountable for developing long term timeline updates that feed mission analysis and validate requirements while providing phase leads necessary insight to create action plans and make decisions that improve operational performance and delivery to the customer. The Flight Planning RE is a Systems Thinker who proactively involves themselves in the requirements, design and development of systems that are active across all mission phases. To be successful, experience with spacecraft systems engineering and a familiarity with human spaceflight operations is required. This opportunity reports to the Mission Systems Engineering and Integration Section inside the Sustaining Lunar Development Program Systems Engineering and Integration Group.
