Job Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Remote, PST hours Who You'll Work With At Slalom, personal connection meets global scale. The Technical Project Manager will help deliver and implement the companies broader goals. What You'll Do • Provide strategic, tactical delivery, and advisory services to support client's IT capital portfolio and organizational initiatives with project management, financial analysis, business analysis, agile transformation, process improvement, subject matter expertise, and other project delivery roles • Translates project requirements into project objectives and tasks, managing task assignment to project resources and reporting on and managing project scope throughout the lifecycle • Develops detail project schedules, resource plans, status reports, budget forecasts and influences the effectiveness of a team that integrates multiple functions/disciplines. • Conducts project meetings, sets and manages client expectations by solving complex issues and changes when appropriate exercising complex Risk, Issue and Change Management best practices. • Interfaces with all areas affected by the project, including end user, services organizations, vendors and implementations partners. • Ensures satisfactory transfer of product upon completion (handoff) and close all project documentation and archive appropriate records. What You'll Bring • 5+ years relevant experience as technical project manager • PMP Certification preferred • Experience in waterfall IT project management lifecycle, building detailed project plan schedules, owning risk identification and mitigation plans, scope controls, and budget tracking • Preferred experience in Agile project delivery • Strong soft skills and servant leadership mindset • Ability and eagerness to learn from a new environment and make an impact quickly • Ability to lead large, cross-functional project teams • Utilities experience preferred but not required About Us Slalom is a purpose-led, global business and technology consulting company.
