We’re looking for an amazing Senior webMethods Developer to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle or Miami offices. You’ll be responsible for participating in design, code, and testing throughout the software development life cycle. You’ll analyze the requirements, identify risks/dependencies, provide estimates, develop code/processes adhering to best practices and co-ordinate with team members for code review and deployments. You’ll identify issues/defects and recommend/provide solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in design, code, and testing throughout software life cycle to identify issues/defects.

  • Configure/build new and enhanced functionality in the webMethods platform using declarative and/or programmatic solutions.

  • Hands on Development/Integration experience with Software AG webMethods suite – utilizing web services and Enterprise Service Bus toolsets (Software AG webMethods 10.x preferred.)

  • Actively participate/lead walk-throughs/demos and reviews with team (as needed.)

  • Coding using the webMethods APIs.

  • Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards.

  • Create design and technical documentation.

  • Oracle Cloud /SoftwareAG Cloud Support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience configuring and building webMethods Solutions.

  • Expert technical knowledge of and experience with enterprise system integration technologies including Web Methods Tools and Languages: Integration Server, UM, MWS, Optimize, Insight, Wm Deployer, Java Services.

  • Hands on Development/Integration experience with Software AG webMethods suite – utilizing web services and Enterprise Service Bus toolsets (Software AG Web Methods 10.x preferred.)

  • Experience in development /integrating enterprise applications using a variety of protocols and toolsets.

  • Experience in Service Development, REST APIs, Web Services, debugging, testing, and deployment.

  • Identify and follow Best Practices, Guidelines and Standards.

  • Experience on WebMethods Administration - Installations and certificate configurations.

  • Knowledge on various protocols like SFTP, SMTP, HTTP/s, FTPs, and File Polling.

  • Basic Java knowledge.

  • Provide on-call and after-hours support for production environments on a rotation basis.

  • Good Communication & Analytical Skills along with experience with onshore/offshore delivery model.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

  • Base Salary Range: $105,000.00 to $116,800.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
