Amazon Senior Vendor Manager, Furniture in Seattle, Washington

Description

Amazon is looking for a Senior Vendor Manager to amplify our Asia Based Retail Selling Partners Program. This is a highly strategic and rapidly growing segment of the Furniture business. The Senior Vendor Manager will be responsible for end-to-end vendor relationships, launching new businesses on Amazon, and maximizing profitability through selection optimization and expansion opportunities.

This role has an emphasis on business development, negotiations, and process improvement to scale high growth businesses. We are seeking a fluent Mandarin speaker with strong executive presence and business acumen to effectively collaborate with executives on the selling partner side as well as internal Amazon stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with Asia Based Selling Partners

• Coordinate across cross-functional internal teams to deliver against strategic vision

• Monitor industry trends and work with selling partners to profitably grow relevant selection

• Develop launch strategies and deal cadence to grow discoverability and demand

• Manage vendor negotiations to drive results across the full P&L

• Audit and action operational input metrics to deliver an exceptional customer experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience

  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration

  • Experience using data to influence business decisions

  • Fluent Mandarin speaker

  • Ability to regularly meet with global stakeholders in international time zones

  • Experience with business analysis and P&L Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

  • Experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
