Position Overview Adaptive is seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Writer to support our growing Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations in the Seattle area. This team member will support these areas to design, optimize, and manage the documents for products are made and distributed across the world. Working on a diverse set of projects, you’d join a collaborative team on a mission to reliably and predictably deliver products that enable Adaptive Biotechnologies to improve people’s lives. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions *Create and review work instructions and assembly instructions for manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and warehouse. *Create and update standard operating procedures for multiple operations areas. *Create other procedural and process documents for manufacturing and warehouse areas. *Create, draft, and review templates, forms, equipment manuals, and guidance documents. *Coordinate the content development of IQ, OQ, and PQ, and DV test protocols and reports as needed. *Supports NPI and Sustaining projects for manufacturing document deliverables. *Update legacy documentation and document remediation as needed. *Work within PLM system (Reliance) system to improve documentation structure for other systems such as ERP and MES. *Facilitate document changes, working with external vendors as needed. *Generate innovative ideas for driving content and workflow solutions. *Drive documentation process improvement projects as needed. *Working with internal teams to develop web solutions for Adaptive documentation. *Participate in other technical writing and communications projects as needed. *Training other manufacturing and supply chain employees on technical writing competencies. Position Requirements *Associates or Bachelors degree in Technical Writing, Creative Writing, Medical Writing or Communications. *5+ years of medical device or biotech writing experience *Good project management skills *Strong written and oral communication skills and building relationships *Attention to detail *Fluency in technical and common office and writing software *Understanding of ISO 13485 requirements *Strong problem-solving skills *The ability to be self-motivated and work independently with minimal supervision, while also working as part of a team environment in a dynamic organization *Preferred qualifications: *Experience and knowledge of localization processes and projects Working Conditions This position may support multiple locations within the Greater Seattle Area and may occasionally require weekend or off hours work. This position can be remote.
