Description

Amazon seeks an outstanding Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to enrich our Integrations Team. We desire a teammate with innate curiosity, keen analytical acumen, and a passion for advancing customer-centric processes. The ideal candidate will adeptly spearhead operational endeavors, cultivate, and sustain strategic partnerships, institute, and refine repeatable protocols, and achieve milestones amidst Amazon's Information Technology teams.

In this role as a Senior TPM for Integrations, you will lead a dedicated team collaborating closely with Corporate Development to seamlessly integrate the technology needs of Acquisitions. Your responsibilities encompass analyzing, conceptualizing, and executing the integration of Infrastructure, Productivity Applications, Audio-Visual systems, Onboarding procedures, IT Support mechanisms, and Asset Deprecation strategies to ensure seamless alignment with Amazon's objectives.

As a Senior Integrations TPM you will need to communicate with product managers, engineering, security, and operational teams to ensure they are held accountable and deliver. You will define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data, drive improvements that are quantified with metrics, and influence resource allocation. You understand the systems in your program space, their limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind architectural decisions You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open, fast-paced, and collaborative peer environment.

Demonstrate Ownership by acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all program needs.

Coordinate working with each stakeholder team to ensure there is agreement on best practices and timelines.

Manage escalations or misalignments when there are risks to delivering committed services with high quality; manages tradeoff decisions with key stakeholders.

• Manage and own complex projects having enterprise-wide impact.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop Network Infrastructure solutions.

• Drive proof of concepts, develop technical documents required for service deployment.

• Demonstrate the ability to provide both structured and creative thinking in a dynamic, evolving, multi team-based environment.

• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of management, building trust across the organization, and demonstrating discretion with sensitive information

Show ownership and leadership skills in coordinating projects across multiple teams, driving them to successful conclusion while building strong, lasting relationships with both internal and external customers.

• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while driving teams to complete goals.

• Demonstrate the ability to break abstract goals into attainable, measurable work items.

• Manage a cross-functional process to translate the desired customer experience into a logically sequenced and optimized product roadmap and product releases

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • 3+ years of software development experience

  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
