76214BR Senior Technical Engagement Leader Senior ProfessionalJob DescriptionThe Senior Technical Engagement Leader (TEL) for Integration & Interoperability is the primary manager for the overall definition, delivery and planning of integration related work during Cerner's software implementation and/or services effort with clients. The Senior TEL will serve as a liaison between Cerner and the client to ensure all targets and requirements are completed on schedule and within scope.The Senior TEL is also responsible for leading and motivating the team and is viewed by clients as the primary contact for a wide variety of issues related to their integration. The Senior TEL is the expert judge of the clients' risk factors for successful implementation and management of their integration.In addition to project management work, the Senior TEL will coordinate resources, scheduling, and other factors including but not limited to basic operational and financial metrics involved with these projects. You will also need to be able to partner effectively with stakeholders, deliver under tight deadlines, have strong communication skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.QualificationsBasic QualificationsAt least 8 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:At least 2 years system administration, system engineering and/or technical project/program management work experienceAt least 6 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or relevant degree or equivalent work experiencePreferred QualificationsAt least 1+ years of experience working on Integration projects leveraging HL7, X12, and/or FHIR At least 1+ years of experience and a solid understanding of database technologiesAt least 3+ years of project management/implementation work experiencePMP CertificationProficient with task management utilitiesExpectationsAbility to travel up to 10%Currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City metropolitan area, or reside near a major international airportWilling to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulationsWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of positionPerform other responsibilities as assignedAdditional InformationApplicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
