A successful candidate will be an experienced, fully trained editing professional with demonstrated technical editing management skills. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team experiencing rapid growth in a healthy market focused on infrastructure development, specifically in the underground sector for the foreseeable future.Responsibilities:Edits technical reports, conference papers, administrative documents, specifications, and marketing materials with little to no supervisionCoordinates editing tasks such as research, writing, data entry, administration, communications support, and other duties as necessaryPlans, develops, coordinates, and directs editing of design packages, specifications, and conference papersPerforms estimates for time on small to medium editing projects, and provides input for estimates on large project design deliverables, subject to review by supervisorSupports Quality Assurance/Quality Control as directed on technical reports and papers per client requirements and/or company policyBegins to review and oversee editing by others of technical materialsParticipates in Technical Training Team, coordinating presentation of technical trainings on published conference papers and other industry publicationsProvides resources, coaching, and training to technical authors (engineers mostly) to be better technical writersQualifications:5-10 yearsBachelor's DegreeExcellent written and oral communication skillsExpert in Microsoft Word; good knowledge of Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant softwareStrong presentation and teamwork skillsRobust project management skills for small to medium editing projectsARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?If you feel that you would be right for this position, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application so that we can review your information.
