This role also supports various tech initiative delivery within the DPE organization.The successful candidate is someone who enjoys bringing definition to complex technology projects and are skilled at navigating ambiguous new frontiers. This candidate has a technical background and attention to detail enable them to identify risks, drive development with predictability and challenge assumptions. Relationships and teamwork are important to how the candidate inspires and leads the teams to deliver their best work. This person is a team player that does what it takes; and also has an intolerance for mediocrity and are unafraid to take a stand on what you believe is right.Job DescriptionLead the overall release delivery process, manage release activites and dependencies across products and teamsManage overall release schedule and coordinate with cross functional groups on cross team dependencies and release readiness activitiesDrive release status updates and provide clarity to all stakeholders, including the team, on progress towards the agreed milestonesMeasure release effectiveness leveraging data trends and metrics to improve the overall customer experienceSupport various tech initiative delivery by driving implementation planning, support testing, and go-to market planning and execution Coordinate project activities across associated project teams; track progress against established plans, report results with project stakeholdersDevelop project communications, including creation of status reports and summaries, tracking escalations and resolutions of issues, coordinating stakeholder meetings and updates, and updating project and program plansManage project timelines, clearly setting expectations, and realigning expectations internally as priorities changeSummary of Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related field, or equivalent experienceTechnology producer, Technical delivery manager, IT project management delivery or program management office experience (7 years)Managing digital product or service delivery and release in an agile environment (5 years)Able to work across disciplines for alignment on product delivery expectationsExceptional communication and presentation skillsExperience working with distributed teamsRequired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesLeadership and Communication:Leads by example and builds teams with a confident and positive attitude, patience, honesty and integrity, and a strong sense of commitment, providing mentoring to team members Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsHas the ability to know what is possible and what is not, and to know how to navigate project engagements efficiently and effectivelyAbility to engage in difficult conversations that result in positive, actionable outcomesAbility to navigate complex and diverse landscapes effectivelySeeks and provides honest, transparent feedbackAbility to lead high-performing project teamsAbility to set expectations and hold individuals and team members accountable to their commitmentsDrives decision-making that favors compromise and alignment over consensus-building Excellent facilitation skills; ability to adapt approach and style to different types of engagementsAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writingAcumen and Learning Agility:Expert-level knowledge of standards and practices for IT project and program lifecycle management activities and deliverables Understanding of IT program and portfolio management practices. Expertise in productivity/collaboration tools, particularly Jira, confluence, ServiceNowAdvanced skills in the MS Office Product Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPointThe actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
