We are looking for a highly capable software engineer to join our web application team. You will be responsible for building features that deliver meaningful and accurate results conveyed with a cutting edge user experience.
You have built and maintained complex applications with React. You understand how to shape application state and which libraries allow navigating through a series of actions. You enjoy designing components and appreciate finding the right balance between reusability and immediacy.

Expectations for Success
Develop and maintain features of our flagship speedtest.net site and of the Speedtest Intelligence application. This includes design, implementation, testing, deployment, documentation and maintenance.
Solve for reliability, scale and flexibility, all the while implementing a visually rich and slick user experience.
Integrate analytics to ensure optimal performance of deployed code.
Collaborate on architecture, technology choices, and interactions with other core components such as shared libraries, backend APIs or our distributed server network.

5+ years of professional web application development, with experience building and maintaining large scale highly visible web applications
Expertise with web technologies (HTML, CSS, HTTP, JWT, REST).
Expertise with React or AngularJS, particularly designing and implementing reusable components
Experience writing unit, integration, and user interface tests.
Proficiency with team development workflows (branches, PRs, code reviews) and continuous integration practices.
Strong time management skills and a self driven work ethic.
Experience with mobile development or React Native
Contributed to open source projects.
