What We DoThe Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance of Enterprise Data management application against relevant security standards. Also responsible for managing and maintain Data Management platform, cloud services and reporting applications. if you are passionate about new opportunities and you have a demonstrated track record of successfully managing big data platform and cloud services, we are interested in talking to you. HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE Responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance of critical data platforms against all applicable policies, standards, requirements regarding information security. Works with appropriate stakeholders, such as Information Security Office, Enterprise Architecture, for getting any new technology approval and for ongoing compliance against relevant policies and standards. Responsible for operation activities like cloud services setup, network connection, cost optimization, incident, and problem management. Responsible for monitoring user requests/issues, understands stated needs & requirements, proposes solutions. Responsible to create, review and test Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan as required. Responsible for conducting periodic risk assessment of critical data platforms, determining gaps, risk severity, and recommending risk balanced mitigation. Facilitate stakeholders and data platform owners for risk balanced implementation. WHAT YOU'LL BRING Strong experience in a Snowflake ecosystem, with knowledge of Snowflake architecture and concepts Excellent SQL skills 3+ years hands-on experience in administering and supporting Snowflake. Well versed with Information Security Policies and Standards. Excellent understanding of Snowflake Internals and integration of Snowflake with other data processing technologies. Experience in Snowflake Platform Security Administration and SSO/OAuth Integrations. Proven understanding of traditional analytics projects, such as data warehouses, data lakes, system integrations, etc. Experience with Python programming. BS in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology. Master's degree in business administration is preferred. Minimum Professional work experience of 10 years. Desired Skills Knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps. Knowledge of Reporting application PowerBI SaaS platform Experience with automation. Excellent communication skills. Eager to learn modern technologies. TECHNOLOGY: Snowflake, Python, Azure and AWS Cloud services, SQL, REST API, PowerShell Pay Range: $114,600 - $191,000 annually This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
