Our engineering culture values pragmatism, honesty, and simplicity to solve hard problems the right way.The Team:The Platform strategy team can be seen as an incubator team, where we look for opportunities to make our development teams more efficient and productive.The E3 Platform Strategy team is a team within the broader Engineering Efficiency and Effectiveness (also known as E3) organization. The E3 organization covers local development, language tooling, CI, and CD. The role of the E3 Platform Strategy team can be seen as an incubator team, where we look for gaps and spin up efforts to fill those gaps. Some current projects are: a fully managed monorepo using Bazel, a CI system based on existing E3 technologies, tooling to gather engineering productivity metrics (DORA and SPACE), and better management systems around third party dependencies to help with security and compliance.Location:We are a globally distributed team with US Offices in New York (HQ), Boston, and Denver and International Offices in Paris, Dublin, London, Madrid, the Netherlands, and Singapore.
