ZILLOW INC Senior Software Development Engineer in Seattle, Washington
Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for its Seattle, Washington office.
Job Duties: Create intelligent, data-driven products and machine learning systems that will help the company take advantage of strategic opportunities in the market. Responsible for all phases of the development cycle including design, implementation, testing, and release. Architect and build highly scalable distributed systems. Collaborate with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to build real-time data-driven systems in production. Provide technical leadership for the team and help them establish strong engineering discipline while taking an idea from zero to completion. Telecommuting is permitted.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in each of the following:
- Building dashboards for data pipeline and monitoring
- Utilizing programming languages such as Java or Python
- Delivering, debugging, and maintaining backend software systems
Utilizing persistence strategies including relational and non-relational databases
