Learn more at careers.alight.com About the Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our Cybersecurity Services team. This role collaborates with cyber product owners, IT partners, and stakeholders to define, implement, and ensure our technology and processes align with potential cyber threats. Responsibilities Coordinating with architects and product owners to plan efforts to reduce enterprise risk. Delivering complex technical risk topics to various audiences. Conducting security reviews and audits of new and existing software, communicating results with stakeholders. Assisting in creating client-ready materials. Educating IT and business lines on cyber concepts. Supporting all aspects of Cybersecurity as needed. Ensuring quality across cyber product domain solutions to meet enterprise and client security requirements. Operationalizing products and transition to Operations. Supporting efforts of Cybersecurity Incident Response team in investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents. Staying updated on cybersecurity trends and technologies to apply insights to strengthen security. Partnering with component owners to identify, assess, and prioritize security risks. Develop mitigation plans to address them. Requirements 6+ years of experience in technology and cybersecurity across multiple domains. Demonstrate knowledge of AWS cloud hosted environment. Be able to demonstrate knowledge of relevant threats, countermeasures, and compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53 preferred). Have experience in developing, deploying, and operating controls in large enterprise environments. Be familiar with security frameworks and industry technology standards. Demonstrate experience or familiarity with Splunk, Tenable, Burp Suite, CrowdStrike Falcon, AWS Security Tools, or similar. Display excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science or information security preferred Possession of industry-recognized security certifications Familiarity with security frameworks and industry technology standards Flexible Working So that you can be your best at work and home, we consider flexible working arrangements wherever possible.
