Our work depends on a Senior SAS Programme r joining our team to supporting the CMS Hospital Quality Reporting (HQR) Program.

This is a remote based role; candidates must live in the US

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Generating new code and corrects, converts, and/or modifies existing code to meet specifications

• Prepare detailed specifications from which code will be written.

• Confers with end-users to analyze specified methods and procedures, identify problems, and document specific requirements.

• Writes and updates technical documentation, including users’ manuals, product specifications, and training materials.

• Perform a variety of testing procedures on assigned products, analyzes test results, and corrects problems.

• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

• Participate in special projects as required.

• Gathers and/or clarifying business and technical requirements with data requestors.

• Provides technical and analytic input to analytic team.

• Plans, develops, tests, and documents SAS programs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience.

• Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures used in computer programming.

• Proficiency in the use of SAS tools.

• Related experience in analytic programming, data extraction, querying databases/data warehouses and data analysis

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional SAS Certification(s)

• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare claims

• Programming experience with analysis in the healthcare industry
