If so, the Selling Partner Support team is looking for a Senior Risk Program Manager to build and manage programs for our global operations that impact our Associates and Selling partners positively.

As the Sr. Risk Manager, Compliance Programs you will own strategic programs to evaluate and mitigate risk to Amazon Selling Partners and the Selling Partner Support global network of associates. You will primarily drive program goals for the Compliance Monitoring Programs (CMP) team within Selling Partner Support. Specifically, you’ll ensure a consistent, high quality selling partner experience through ongoing compliance monitoring. In this highly collaborative role, you will own program support for risk management and control practices across key business functions, ensuring that we are operating in adherence with critical policies and procedures, including regulation compliance, contractual agreements. Your projects will span process improvement, automation, data governance, and control implementation as you drive the primary monitoring mechanisms for outsourced support partners for SP Support. You will partner across a broad array of teams including Service Delivery, Operations, Training, Security, Capacity Planning, and Third Party Management as part of this role. You’ll own creation and deployment of an enhanced behavioral conduct compliance program for Selling Partner Support, building on existing controls in a risk-based approach to addressing conduct non-compliance among the associate population. To be successful in this role you’ll need a strong learn and be curious mentality for identifying new opportunities to innovate and address risks.

Key job responsibilities

• Ensure sustainable and scalable auditor process are identified and built to support existing and new audits

• Drive automation and process workflow development for the team in coordination with data, technology, and program teams across the Quality Organization and SP Support.

• Assist in establishing measurement, reporting and process excellence indicators for effective accomplishment of goals in core processes.

• Proactively identify tool and system requirements that reduce operational defects; Measure impact- and benefit-driven prioritization of process excellence projects.

• Own the strategy and build out of the Associate Behavioral/Conduct Compliance program for Selling Partner Support focusing on identifying, assessing, and remediating associate conduct risk.

• Partner with a broad group of stakeholders to identify the most pressing issues impacting Selling Partner experiences from an associate behavior perspective.

Selling Partner Support (SP Support) is responsible for providing world‐class support and building loyalty with Amazon’s millions of selling partners. Our mission is to serve and empower our selling partners as we transform their experience with support. The Compliance Monitoring Program team within Selling Partner Support ensures a consistent, safe, and supportive environment for Selling Partners. We do this through ongoing monitoring and audit of our Outsource Partners and our SP Support Associate population as a whole.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in compliance, audit or risk management

  • Experience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs or equivalent

  • Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • High volume support operations experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
