The primary duties of the RES Agent 3 include coordination of right of way and utility issues for clients - generally related to construction projects. Must be proficient with the federal, state and industry laws and regulations such as FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, FERC and Uniform Relocation Act regulations. In conjunction with others, performs activities to support Real Property projects such as: property assessments, risk analysis, acquisition of needed rights, occupant relocation, property management, construction coordination and utility relocation/coordination. Is often responsible for schedule and budget performance, while complying with federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as the client's policies and procedures. Has the ability to work independently or closely with a team and may need to available for travel, as required. Prioritizes work and performs at a high level - both volume and quality. Experience in Agency or DOT property management procedures under the Uniform Act is a plus: Inventory procedures Property inspections and salvage processes Appraisal management and valuation procedures for salvage and disposal Experience with interagency agreements and exchanges Lease drafting and management experience Knowledge of pre-construction property stabilization and facility management Demonstrated experience with surplus property procedures and disposal processes Understanding of demolition process and management protocols *L1-PH1 Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred. 10 years of experience with right of way, title, utility, relocation, property management or other industry areas. Experience with permitting/franchising preferred. Familiarity with Uniform Relocation Act and the Eminent Domain Process preferred. Real estate license, in good standing, or equivalent, as required by law Have the knowledge and ability to review and understand real estate documents including title, appraisal, environmental, and survey Proficient with standard technology tools such as: MS Office, Excel and Project. Database and GIS familiarity a plus. Position requires skills including: ability to build positive client relationships, strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to work with junior staff and residential and commercial property owners.
