The Boeing Global Services Core and Supply Chain Quality organization is currently seeking a Senior Quality Systems Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA . The selected candidate will be placed in various areas around the organization.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads Quality reviews of organizational strategy and initiatives in place to strengthen the BGS QMS throughout the organization, at all levels

  • Integrates and ensures alignment of organizational business goals and objectives with BGS strengthening safety and quality initiatives and focus areas

  • Ensures early quality involvement throughout the organization to escalate and mitigate risks to ensure BGS QMS health.

  • Develops Quality budget and cost estimates.

  • Leads multi-function, multi-site groups to develop company directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.

  • Leads stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.

  • Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.

  • Conducts quality system process capability assessments to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions.

  • Develops Quality system assessments and criteria to formulate responses for review and approval by senior management.

  • Develops scope, schedule, plans and leads hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements, and reports results to management.

  • Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience with process improvement and lean manufacturing.

  • 10+ years of experience in direct support of Quality Management System.

  • 10+ years of experience leading risk assessment activities to identify and assess risks that may affect the ability of a program/business unit to achieve objectives; including determining risk response strategies and control activities

  • 10+ years of experience with data analysis and root cause/corrective action methods (RCCA) and risk assessment.

  • 10+ years of experience developing & supporting project plans through the full project lifecycle.

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Compliance, FAA or DCMA interface support, Quality Systems Auditing and Quality Process Auditing

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Application Suite tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) support environment.

  • Experience in Project Management leading complex projects with an emphasis in corrective or preventative action.

  • Experience in Six Sigma techniques or Six Sigma Certification.

  • Experience leading teams in a formal or informal role.

  • Ability to team and collaborate across multiple functions domestically and internationally

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Salary Summary Range: $101,430 - $188,370
