The Selling Partner User Experience design team team invents and simplifies how Selling Partners sell on Amazon. We obsess over customer behavior and data to help us deliver customer innovation on a massive worldwide scale. As a Program Manager on Selling Partner User Experience design team team, you will be responsible for managing multiple internal programs to deliver on team goals. These programs are designed to continuously improve the selling experience by aligning new features to the tasks that matter most to Selling Partners, raising the quality bar on proposed and implemented designs, and driving fixes to identified experience issues. Familiarity with design thinking, such as UX design, design principles, design patterns, information architecture, or UX writing will be very helpful but is not required.
This is a role that will include interaction with operational teams and stakeholders a wide variety of office locations and countries, requiring a strong ability to communicate effectively and understand the different needs of each team. You should have experience leading key initiatives, from conception to launch in a rapidly evolving environment. As a program manager, you will be adding critical value by helping our organization operate at scale.
Key job responsibilities
General responsibilities may include:
• Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations
• Development of the overall program strategy, tactically driving teams in and outside of your organization to deliver
• Report on objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
• Write high quality documents with customers, internal/external teams, and engineering teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order
• Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s) from third-party solutions, security not considered, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.)
• Work with program managers, UX designers, and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
• Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across projects
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
Experience supporting Sellers or Vendors on sites such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, Shopify, or similar

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
