Description
Are you interested in being part of a high visibility, strategic team that directly impacts Amazon worldwide? The Core Selling Partner Experience Governance Team team defines, implements, and enforces quality standards for all Amazon-built experiences for all of our selling partners worldwide. We are seeking an innovative, entrepreneurial Senior Program Manager (Sr. PM) to lead design and implementation of program infrastructure for Selling Partner Experience governance. Specifically, this role will be responsible for programmatic infrastructure (communications, processes, playbooks) and program management critical to ensuring builder teams world-wide are aware of and adhere to selling partner experience standards. This amazing Program Manager will also implement mechanisms to scale how we work and drive process adoption.
The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter that can work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment; have great bias for action; be deeply customer-centric; and has a drive to own, build, and grow; along with the ability to have a little bit of fun.
Key job responsibilities
• Interact with stakeholders at multiple levels and dynamically lead business and product teams to adopt Governance Standards, tools and processes.
• Partner with product teams to understand pain points in our Governance processes, continuously improving our ability to measure and enhance seller experiences.
• Plan and manage multiple parallel projects.
• Create, maintain and disseminate project information related to Governance processes to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations.
• Create and automate processes to improve efficiency and consistency in governance implementation.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
