Amazon Senior Product Manager-Tech, Ring App Notifications & Messaging in Seattle, Washington

In the Ring app, our notifications and messaging are the most visible ways that we speak to our customers and alert them to what is happening in their most important spaces. In this role, you will build the vision, strategy and roadmap to reach our users where they are to ensure they receive clear, relevant, timely and engaging communications.
As a thought leader on the Ring app core mobile product team, you will shape our thinking on how to leverage notifications and messaging to improve overall user experience. Your work will directly impact how our customers experience our devices and services.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Craft the vision and strategy for the Ring app consumer notifications and messaging experience, and build alignment for it across product teams, cross-functional partners, and leadership
Lead a cross-functional product team to execute against a prioritized roadmap
Build best practices for how users manage notifications at the account, feature, location and device levels
Identify new opportunities for notification and messaging channel innovation, health and performance, including through the use of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, computer vision, personalization and recommendation engines, and other technologies
Collaborate with teams across Ring and Amazon to improve the notifications and messaging they send for their features
Rapidly test and iterate to deliver new notifications and messaging types and content
Partner with product and content designers to ensure that our notifications and messaging are clear, relevant, timely and engaging
Partner with engineers and technical program managers to build our notifications platform, tooling and infrastructure
Partner with business intelligence analysts to identify key performance metrics and build tools to track and monitor them
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of technical product or program management experience
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on notifications or messaging channels for a consumer mobile app or smart home device

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
