Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) is looking for an outstanding Senior Product Manager to join the AWS International Product Management and Expansion Strategy team. This is your opportunity to be a core part of the AWS team that has direct impact on global strategic planning and decision-making.
Today, AWS serves customers globally from over 190 countries through multiple infrastructure Regions. From these Regions, AWS offers over 200 fully featured cloud services which redefine business agility, reduce the cost of IT infrastructure, and elevate the role of IT as an enabler of business organizations.
This role will help AWS continue to expand worldwide by determining which geographies to consider for new AWS Regions, and then work to ensure that the Regions are optimally serving our customers. In addition, this role will help develop long-term growth strategies for AWS’s international business. We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong product strategy and strategic planning experience in technology products or services.
This person will have sufficient technical skills to understand cloud technology, broadly and at the service level, unparalleled written and verbal executive communication skills (can clearly articulate strategy and drill into tactics), a passion for diving into details and synthesizing information, and the ability to partner with all functions and levels in the organization. This person will also be able to identify the needs of customers, and translate those needs into prioritized business requirements that can be executed across the organization. Key job responsibilities
The key strategic objectives of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Help lead the effort to continually define where, when, and how AWS will expand internationally
• Develop business cases, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, pricing analysis, marketing strategy, financial (P&L) models, and growth strategies
• Continually assess business performance and customer needs
• Become the subject matter expert on specific geographies; recommend features, functionality, initiatives, and tools to help customers more easily adopt AWS products and services
• Define and orchestrate long term AWS business growth plans for one or more geographies
• Collaborate closely with international teams to support local business initiatives

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5+ years of management consulting, product strategy, or business development in technology-driven organizations
2+ years of demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field
Experience in developing data driven insights, strategic frameworks, and performance tracking mechanisms
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
Familiarity with emerging technologies (cloud computing/AI) and industry trends.
Experience with strategic planning, resource allocation, and budget management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
