Key statistics: 1100+ Team members 900+ Consultants 550+ Ph.D.s 30+ Offices globally We are currently seeking a Senior Managing Engineer/Architect (Building Technology) for our Practice in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will work as part of a team to help lead and further grow our engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and will be a key member of our national practice. Responsibilities will include marketing to new and existing clients, successfully executing projects, and recruiting, hiring, and retaining highly qualified staff. You will be responsible for: Inspection, analysis, and determination of root causes of building envelope and building material failures. Developing a profitable and dynamic Buildings and Structures consulting practice based in Exponent\'s Seattle office Collaborating with our Materials and Corrosion Consulting practice with a particular focus on expanding client relationships in the local market Identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities and promote Exponent through typical business contacts Recruiting, developing, and mentoring staff in the areas of architectural and structural engineering, failure analysis and investigation, and both domestic and international dispute resolution Promoting Exponent\'s expertise in architectural and structural engineering by meeting with potential clients, presenting at conferences and conducting seminars You will have the following skills and qualifications: M.S./Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or degree in architecture P.E. or S.E. license in the States of Washington and Oregon. Compensation Our consultants are rewarded for their technical and business contributions and have an opportunity to plan for future success and career growth. Exponent\'s total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Manager level total compensation includes base salary, annual bonus, and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary. The base salary range for this position is \$142,000 - \$190,000 depending on experience and capabilities which will be assesse
