The Corporate Enterprise Accounting Program Office (CAEPO) is seeking a creative and passionate senior leader with excellent project management skills help achieve our vision to provide stewardship for Global Account Reconciliation program a world-class enterprise resource planning (ERP) onboarding experience to our global business partners in support of Amazon’s journey to become earth’s most customer-centric company. The role requires managing and overseeing cross-functional programs while ensuring successful delivery across multiple verticals. The position involves developing and refining program strategies, leading teams effectively, and setting clear objectives using data analytics to drive improvements .
Key job responsibilities
The Senior Manager will lead Amazon's global account reconciliation automation strategy while driving complex, large-scale project launches. They will develop scalable solutions and balance system improvements with new initiatives.
This role manages a comprehensive program portfolio, driving technical deliverables while standardizing communications and documentation across global processes.
The position requires building strong relationships with key stakeholders, leading senior-level discussions, and partnering with business, tech, and finance teams to ensure cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will define functional accounting requirements, monitor program performance, and manage complex problems and escalations while maintaining financial controls. They will also be responsible for talent management, including attracting and retaining team members, planning departmental resources, and optimizing work assignments.

The Corporate Accounting Enterprise Program Office is dedicated to delivering long-term, robust financial systems and processes to Amazon through best-in-class program management .
Our mission focuses on maintaining a well-controlled environment that effectively supports financial reporting and disclosure requirements .
CAEPO consists of a cross-functional team of tenured accounting and financial services subject matter experts along with technical project managers specializing in ERP and financial systems
The team serves internal customers including Accounting, Finance, Tax, FOAA, Finance Ops, Public Policy, Public Relations, Country Business Leaders, Auditors and Regulators .
Basic Qualifications
12+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Preferred Qualifications
CPA
Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO)
Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
Experience in operational accounting with one or more Fortune 500 companies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
