You will mentor and develop junior analysts on investigations, writing, and critical thinking. Key job responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to develop and implement KPI’s, establish a strategic roadmap to guide the team’s mission and work, and complete projects as assigned including drafting, editing, and revising investigation reports.

• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.

• Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.

• Work with customers to build strong policies that ensure business continuity.

• Assist with investigations, social media monitoring, and crisis management logistics as needed.

• Monitor for new trends and changes to security environments and alert appropriate responders.

• Ability to set the vision, direction and culture of the team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals.

• Mentor and develop junior analysts.

• Hire and manage consultants, as necessary.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytical, investigative, intelligence, or law enforcement disciplines.

• Bachelor’s degree (criminal justice, psychology, or security-related preferred).

• Experience in open source investigation techniques.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to succinctly summarize and assess information.

• Experience working with highly confidential information.

• On call availability 24/7. Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $170,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
