The Boeing Company is currently seeking Senior Information Technology Manager to join the Digital Transformation Environment (DTE) within the IT Common Services Organization. This position would be located at one of the following locations: Saint Louis MO, North Charleston SC, Bellevue WA or Bangalore India.

You must have experience contributing to large modern software solutions delivered in Agile way, and experience running highly-functional Agile teams. Experience gained in software industry will be a strong plus. You must also be able to engage our internal partners’ management with discussions about methodologies, culture, and best practices. Ultimately your success will be measured by success of other Boeing organizations working with DTE.
The Digital Transformation Environment (DTE) was launched in January 2017 to radically change how Boeing builds software solutions. DTE is a digital accelerator focused on designing and building in-house solutions and differentiating capabilities to help Boeing compete in our second century. DTE is a key initiative aligned closely with 2nd Century Enterprise Systems (2CES) portfolio. DTE operates as an internal startup serving the greater Boeing Company. Your job will be to empower Boeing software product teams to adapt to change and build great software. DTE fosters a growth and a startup culture, and is positioned to spread it across Boeing. This position will place you at the head of a fast-paced, growing organization where you will have the responsibility to shape the program as it is being developed. Primary Responsibilities: * Passion for the transformation of Boeing’s software development and business practices * Focus on value delivery, setting high goals and expectations, always pivoting for highest value and outcomes * Customer and partner focus * Understanding of long-term strategic direction of Boeing and IT&DA, and wiliness to influence it based on knowledge of modern software and organization development trends * Being an excellent communicator at every level of the organization * Support the mission of the program by enabling product engagements in all DTE locations and support DTE site leaders as appropriate * Playing an active role in strategic planning of the DTE program * Financial planning for the delivery of DTE services in the region * Partner with DTE Board of Managers to drive adoption of DTE across Boeing as well as facilitate strategy sessions to build and manager DTE services roadmap * Manage talent pipeline for the DTE sites * Establish and track appropriate metrics and KPIs related to the DTE program * Evangelizing the principles of DTE’s methodologies, processes, tools, and culture to drive transformational change * Support all local leadership teams built of management, development, product management, design practice leads and service managers Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. Basic Qualifications (Required): * Strong record of delivery of program or large-scale product outcomes * 5 - 10 years of IT Management experience * Experience leading geographically distributed teams * BA/BS in Computer Science or related field Desired Qualifications/Experience: * Preferred experience working in a similar role with a consultancy or software development organization * Understanding of: o eXtreme Programming o Lean Startup principles o User Centered Design * Masters is a plus * Industry experience a plus
