We are seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to take on a dual role within Software (SW) Engineering (Eng) Human Resources (HR)—serving as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) organization while also leading Strategy and Integration (S&I) efforts across the broader organization in either Seattle, WA (Puget Sound area), Hazelwood, or Berkeley, MO.
As the HRBP supporting the AI team, you will work closely with AI leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, drive talent development, and support a high-performance culture in this cutting-edge space. You will play a key role in workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, leadership coaching, and employee engagement—ensuring that AI talent is supported and empowered to drive innovation.
In addition to the HRBP responsibilities, you will also drive S&I across Software Engineering HR, ensuring seamless execution of key initiatives and enhancing operational excellence. You will lead cross-functional integration efforts, driving alignment between Software Engineering leadership, HR, and enterprise-wide priorities. You will manage operational cadences and strategic planning, including leadership team meetings, offsites, and key deliverables as well as enhance strategic awareness and communication, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across teams.

Position Responsibilities:
HRBP
Builds relationships with business leaders by providing support and guidance to enhance team performance and organizational culture
Addresses HR-related issues and consults with management to develop effective strategies
Assists in the development and delivery of training programs that enhance employee skills and promote a positive workplace culture
Drives talent management activities, including supporting succession planning and staffing efforts to enhance workforce diversity
Implements HR strategies and practices, ensuring effective communication and engagement with employees
Supports the analysis of HR metrics to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement
Consults on the development and delivery of training programs that enhance employee skills and promote a positive workplace culture
S&I
Operational Excellence:
Aligns team with business strategies, HR priorities, and competing demands across Engineering, Test and Technology (ET&T) and SW Eng
Drives strategic awareness and prepares HR leadership for key initiatives
Manages operational cadence, meetings, schedules, and administrative infrastructure
Leadership and Integration:
Leads integration of SW standard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), HR initiatives, and key actions
Partners with ET&T, S&I, and SW Eng HR to ensure progress on priorities
Drives special projects and proactively engages with Center of Excellence (COEs) upcoming impacts
Communication:
Develops and deploys SW Eng HR communications, ensuring alignment with HR leadership
Supports SW HR Director in crafting messaging and follows up on key actions
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Human Resources
5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions
5+ years of experience executing strategies and managing associated projects
5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and linking relevant HR strategies to business outcomes
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active US Security Clearance
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Human Resources certification(s)
5+ years of experience working with employees as a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) or Human Resources Business Partner
Experience problem-solving and performing data analysis
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in creating presentations with PowerPoint and using Excel for data analysis and reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build relationships at various levels of the organization

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $103,700 - $150,650
