Position Category: Finance & Accounting Job DescriptionAmazon seeks an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role on the Amazon Devices Finance Team. Over the past decade Amazon has developed a number of market-leading, innovative, and fast-growing digital and mobile businesses including Kindle, Fire Tablets, Fire TV and Echo. The Accessories finance team supports the development of accessories for all of these devices plus emerging categories, while helping maintain a world-class store where customers discover, research, and purchase customer-centric products for their Amazon devices. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate who wants to work in a start-up like environment and is passionate about hardware and digital experiences. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work closely with Amazon's Lab126 to determine product features, manage financials, and set prices for Amazon branded accessories, while working with sales teams to develop reporting and financial models that provide business intelligence. The Accessories business is a key component for the success of Amazon Devices and in this role you will have ownership of various aspects of our reporting and forecasting processes, and will work closely with our Accessories business leaders in defining sales and profit maximizing strategies and carry these efforts through to implementation. Primary responsibilities include: * Serve as finance partner for the accessories product development process * Partnership with key stakeholders on demand/supply analysis * Working with big data and transforming it into insights and information * Leading automation efforts of critical processes * Developing weekly performance metrics and dynamic scenario models to be used by business partners to help drive data driven decision making * Supporting product line owners with ad hoc analyses * Ad hoc strategic projects Basic Qualifications BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field and a minimum 5 years of finance experience OR master's degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
