Amazon Senior Financial Analyst, WW Stores IPAT in Seattle, Washington

Description

WW Stores IPAT Finance seeks a Sr Financial Analyst to support with the Governance Risk Compliance (GRCs), Monthly Change Management (MCM) and Policy controllership for WW Stores business. This is a highly visible role supporting 8 key businesses within Stores. They will partner with multiple teams across WW Stores, as well as Finance teams in other orgs, to provide insights, build mechanisms and tools to surface key analytics, dive deep into large sets of data.

In addition to Policy controllership and MCM, this role provides an opportunity to partner with financial systems and other teams on data-driven projects driving product enhancements and new tool launches. Experience in this team opens up several career opportunities across Amazon.

Key job responsibilities

  • Supporting WW Stores Governance, Risk, Controls (GRCs) completion and make recommendations on process improvements that will help to deliver results, and influence leaders throughout Amazon.

  • Support defining and maintaining WW Stores headcount and Opex Policies and Guidances. Cascading the Standards and ensuring adherence by teams.

  • Review and help leadership sign-off on Restatements, Monthly Change Management (MCM) activities. Uses approval tool, FRAMES and several other MCM tools.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) on WW Stores change management processes. Lead goals including Cost Pool audits, allocation reviews etc., working closely with Corp. and Stores partner teams.

  • Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.

  • Partnering with other teams and business partners to standardize reporting and forecasting mechanisms.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, or CPA

  • Knowledge of Excel, Tableau

  • PMP preferred

  • Strong written and oral communication skills combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.

  • An understanding of finance issues in an operational environment of rapid growth.

  • Solid business judgment and controllership focus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $164,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
