Seattle Children's Senior Executive Assistant - Research Administration in Seattle, Washington
Seattle Children’s Research Institute is seeking an exceptionally efficient and highly collaborative Senior Executive Assistant to support the Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO).
The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise and considerable initiative in understanding the priorities of the CSO. You will manage a complex schedule requiring excellent organization skills and possess a high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information. Building strong connections and maintaining professionalism under pressure when interfacing with executives, faculty, administrators, and team members across the Seattle Children’s enterprise as well as multiple external collaborators will be vital. Superior attention to detail is expected when providing administrative support including preparing presentations, agendas, meeting minutes, proof-reading material, scheduling leadership meetings, coordinating events, hosting external visitors, and organizing travel.
This role requires the ability to work independently, yet be a great team-player, provide exceptional customer service with high-quality results, think critically and exercise good judgment when adjusting priorities in an ever-changing environment.

This is a hybrid position, dividing time between remote work, and onsite, at our downtown Seattle campus, at a minimum of at least 3 days per week.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent experience. At least five (5) years experience in a complex, responsible administrative position, including at least three (3) years experience providing administrative support to executive level positions. Experience taking and transcribing meeting minutes.

Preferred
BA degree or completion of college-level administration courses. Notary Public. Direct experience working in an academic or publishing environment. Reference Manager experience.
Compensation Range
$78,735.00 - $118,103.00 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
