Kennedy Jenks is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our growing team in the Seattle/Federal Way area. As a Senior Engineer, you will serve as a trusted advisor, subject matter expert, and Program or Project Manager. You will supervise staff, attend meetings internally and externally, and ensure work is prepared according to company standards and deadlines. The right candidate will be able to take lead in resolving complex technical matters and contribute significantly to achieving company financial results. Additionally, you will provide leadership, mentoring, and strategic recruiting to fulfill company needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide advice and guidance on complex technical matters, develop standards and guidelines. Act as a trusted client advisor to clients economic buyers. Demonstrate advanced leadership in strategic plan development and implementation to meet future business conditions and support business development. Serve as Program/Project Manager or owner's representative, directing client and/or consultant staff. Partner with Operational, Technical, and Sales leadership to support project delivery and financial goals for the entire business unit. Support recruitment program for hires at all levels, engage in strategic recruiting to fulfill company needs. Participate in company senior leadership initiatives to drive success and enable implementation of new strategic plan advancements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related scientific discipline required. Master's degree preferred. 15+ years experience in water/wastewater/water resources engineering. Proficiency in various engineering-related software including AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil3D, and Microsoft Products. Ability to interact professionally internally and externally, analyze technical documents, and communicate effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exchanging ideas and treating others with respect. Practical Project Management (PM) certification and Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. The salary range for this position is anticipated to be $160,000 to $200,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.
