Marsh & McLennan Senior Engagement Lead in Seattle, Washington

Marsh USA LLC is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Seattle, WA office. (Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with company policy). Senior Engagement Lead We will count on you to: Advise client companies on business continuity, crisis management, crisis communications, emergency response and incident management, human services response, and risk management strategies. Use data to help clients optimize risk profiles and recommend plans to monitor and mitigate risk exposure. Manage large-scale national and global strategic projects, coach team members, and solve complex problems. Advise and direct colleagues on research and analysis needs for complex client projects and instruct them in data collection to offer best in class guidance. Drive the expansion of client relationships for large-scale projects and harness opportunities to gain new work and clients. Leverage expert knowledge of industry and leading practices to advise clients on complex project approaches, methodologies, and tools to provide superior results. Leverage extensive business continuity management planning experience to predict future roadblocks in client projects and formulate strateg ic action plans to prevent them. Obtain and on-board clients including vetting opportunities, writing an appropriate statement of work, adhering to internal new business practices, negotiating with clients, completing contract review and on-boarding processes. Review client deliverables and provide advanced recommendations and analysis to support all projects. Define trends across industries and articulate their impact to client business and strategic choices. Lead highly specialized and/or unique projects for clients to provide exceptional results. This position will oversee three Risk Analyst employees on a per project basis. What you need to have: Must have a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Emergency Management, or a related field, plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as an Emergency Planning Officer, Crisis Manager, Business Continuity Manager, Project Manager, Emergency Program Coordinator, Consultant, Emergency Response Manager, or other related occupation/title involving Crisis Management. Seven (7) years of experience must include: Overseeing all aspects of project delivery including creating project statements of work, budgets, timelines, communications, and the coaching and oversight of project team members. Conducting capability assessments to evaluate preparedness and readiness in all areas of organizational resilience. Creating, developing, and enhancing emergency response, crisis management, crisis communications, human services response, and business continuity management programs for clients. Designing, developing, conducting/facilitating, and evalua ting training sessions and exercises (tabletops and functional). Participating in public relations activities including interviews with media, webinar panelists, and conference presenters. In the alternative, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Emergency Management, or a related field, employer will accept an additional two (2) years of relevant work experience in the job offered, as an Emergency Planning Officer, Crisis Manager, Business Continuity Manager, Project Manager, Emergency Program Coordinator, Consultant, Emergency Response Manager, or other related occupation/title involving Crisis Management, for a total of nine (9) years of experience.
