We are seeking a Senior Director of Research Facilities to join Seattle Children's Research Institute. This key leadership role will oversee long-range facility planning and new construction for the Research Institute campus.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Oversee overall operation, maintenance, and security of the research facilities and equipment.
Provide day-to-day administration of employee services, facilities engineering, contract negotiation, Research Purchasing, interpret and apply regulations, and coordinate activities with internal departments and external organizations.
Analyze costs, activities, operations, and forecast data to determine departmental or divisional progress toward stated goals.
Provide strategic leadership to plan, design, construct, and maintain all Research facilities.
Lead efforts for services and supplies, as well as oversight of facilities related quality systems in support of GMP operations.
Support of administrative, engineering, and quality operations that assist GMP and GLP Programs.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in supervision, installation, and maintenance of equipment, construction, utilities, and buildings.
Research and Development facilities development and construction experience.
Experience with construction management, life safety codes, uniform building codes, and CAD for commercial projects.
Experience in managing teams.
