MoxiWorks Senior Director of Finance & Business Operations in Seattle, Washington

Job Duties:

Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes of the organization, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasting, and long-range plans, working closely with the FP&A Lead, CFO, and the Department executives. Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performance Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team from the ground up. Build, design, and execute a plan to build the Business Unit FP&A function, with a sustainable infrastructure, actionable and timely reporting, and accurate forecasting. Build, maintain and improve the financial forecasting process and models for the Business Unit. Manage the Workday Adaptive Planning system used for forecasting and reporting processes, owning roll-up of financial forecasts and budgets, and driving automation of reporting across FP&A. Develop, maintain, and analyze key performance indicators. Prepare Board and Investor reporting along with other financial analyses as needed to help drive improvements in the business, including current focus areas such as market expansion opportunities, competitive benchmarking analyses, pricing, and strategic financial optimization strategies.

 

This role supervises one employee with the following job title: Accounting Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field plus 6 years of experience as a Financial Manager or related financial planning role.

 

Special Requirements:

6 years of experience with:

  • Financial Planning; and
  • Financial Forecasting.

5 years of experience with:

  • Accounting and budgeting software.

4 years of experience with:

  • Key Performance Indicators evaluation, including advanced budgeting with experience reducing company wide cost expenditures and making recommendations to a Board of Directors.
  • Mentoring and coaching accounting and financial professionals.
  • Helping maximize Annualized Recurring Revenue.
  • Leadership role in a financial department.

     

Additionally, this role requires a Certified Public Accountant license, or foreign equivalent.

This role requires up to 10% international travel to affiliate company's headquarters in Australia.
