As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will perform credit analysis and prepare credit approval packages for complex commercial loans. Independently analyze complex credits and develop credit proposals with minimum guidance. In this role you'll have the opportunity to: Responsible for investigating credit and financial information on prospective and existing clients. Analyze business/personal financial statements, collateral support, and sources of repayment for new, renewed, and existing loans. Prepare spreadsheets, credit proposals for complex credits, summaries, and opinions for loan decision makers. Support the Team Leader role and serve as back up as directed. Responsible for training and mentoring new team members. Responsible for complying with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations. Education & Certifications Bachelor's Degree: Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science or other related field Preferred SBA credit analysis Experience 4 to 6 years of experience as a credit analyst required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to analyze complex financial statements, tax returns, credit information, and cash flows. Possess in-depth knowledge of credit investigations and collateral requirements. Possess strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles and complex credits. Ability to accurately produce high volumes of work while adapting to changing situations and interruptions in a high pressure, deadline driven environment. Possess excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to commercial lending. Proficient in Excel, Word, and applicable systems.
