77643BR Senior Consultant Senior ProfessionalJob DescriptionAs a Sr. Consultant on Cerner's Patient Accounting team, you will advise clients on workflows across service lines, and guide clients through interdependencies and design decision impacts. You will create strategic plan with client to obtain value achievement across service line. You will identify workflow and process improvements and make recommendations to client and project leadership. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to identify and propose solution enhancements, workflow efficiencies and client relationship strategies. You will engage in the sales process to assist with accurate quoting of contractual scope and hours. In addition, you will contribute to organizational initiativesQualificationsBasic Qualifications:At least 8 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:At least 2 year of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experienceAt least 6 years of experience with Higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the jobReceipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your positionDue to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizenPreferred Qualifications:At least 3 years of Health care information technology (HCIT) consulting or support work experienceResponsible for driving client-specific solution configuration design, testing, and communicationsProficient with MS Office Suite, workflows, Revenuecycle.exeCerner Millennium, Patient Access workflows, Front Office workflowsExpectations:Willing to travel up to 50% as neededMust reside in an already virtually approved location, or live in the Kansas City, MO areaWilling to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulationsWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of positionPerform other responsibilities as assignedAdditional InformationApplicants for U.S.-based positions with Cerner must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
