We invite our partners and communities to work with us to improve health and redesign the health care delivery system. Responsibilities: Provide health care clinical, operations, and/or systems project management and consulting services to a variety of health care clientele. Coordinate and implement support functions for assigned projects. Develop and oversee project plan; set milestones, reinforce expectations, and assign tasks; monitor and report on progress. Share best practices and lessons learned to achieve improvement in health care delivery systems, processes, and outcomes. Expected to meet or exceed billable hour targets. Participate in Business Development activities including conference attendance, proposal writing, and budget creation. Experience and Certifications: 12 years of consulting experience in the healthcare field required (additional 4 years of healthcare clinical and/or operational experience may be substituted for consulting experience) 7 years of project management work experience in healthcare Preferred PMP, CPEHR, CPHIMS, or CPHIE Education: BA/BS in a related field equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted Preferred MA/MS in a related field Specialized Skills and Competencies: Project involvement in a lead capacity with at least three major project efforts (e.g., full system implementations, operations mergers, major conversions, complex facility move, etc.). Proficiency with at least one process improvement methodology. Familiarity with project management methodologies, automated project management tools, workflow redesign, and business process mapping. Familiarity with healthcare clinical and operational workflows and medical terminology. Familiarity with software development and implementation lifecycles. Ability to manage a workload with that includes on-site client work as well as remote client work. Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio. Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities: Provide a variety of consulting and technical support on multiple, concurrent client projects Effectively engage providers' senior and executive leadership to obtain their sponsorship of project goals and objectives Convene multiple interdisciplinary stakeholders within or beyond the client's setting to build consensus, a shared vision, and action plans to successfully redesign their processes to be more effective and efficient Lead team members (i.e., Comagine Health and client staff) to complete projects within timelines and budgets; motivate team members and resolve conflicts; marshal client resources to meet project deliverables Develop and implement work plans and schedules Provide feedback on technical strategy and design documentation Prepare high quality, accurate and effective consulting deliverables including reports, presentations, and oth
