Northwest Bank Senior Construction Loan Administrator in Seattle, Washington
**This position requires experience specifically in Construction loan administration in a commercial lending environment. Applicants without this experience will be automatically disqualified.
*This position is eligible for remote work out of Washington, Idaho, or Oregon.
As a Senior Loan Administrator, you'll be responsible for preparing and administering construction budgets and processing construction loan disbursements/draws in accordance with Bank policy and procedure. You'll prepare construction loan documents, ensuring all collateral is perfected to protect the Bank?s interest. You'll work with the production team from the point of loan approval and ongoing maintenance through final payoff or conversion to term loan. You'll join the Loan Administration team, ensuring above and beyond customer service to internal customers as well as bank clients.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform assigned duties in accordance with the Bank?s Mission, Vision and Core Values; and provide the Bank?s customers with timely, responsive and exceptional service in accordance with the Bank?s customer service standards
Work in partnership with production teams as a liaison with customers, attorneys, and title company representatives, during all phases of financing as required. Participate in ?kick-off? meeting between customer and Bank
Using LaserPro, prepare complex construction loan documents according to the approved credit memo, ensuring that all terms of the loan, as approved, are incorporated in the loan documents.
Ensure that all closing conditions are met and that loans are closed within time frames that are consistent with exceptional customer service
Ability to comprehend complex entity documentation for LLC?s, corporations, partnerships, trusts etc.
Order and analyze title insurance commitment reports including title exceptions, endorsements and prepare title/escrow instructions
Order and analyze UCC pre-search reports to ensure the Bank?s lien position for UCC collateral types; prepare termination, assignment or subordination filings to assist in clearing existing liens
Administer construction loans, including ordering inspections and title date-downs, preparing and balancing budgets and processing draws
Perform quality control review for accuracy of loan documentation and note boarding
Maintain a working knowledge of and compliance with all banking regulations related to the lending function and other areas of the Bank as appropriate
Be knowledgeable of and promote all relevant bank products and services
Provide timely and responsive customer service by taking initiative to resolve potential issues prior to customer impact
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and construction loan administration and documentation
Advanced level of knowledge in all areas of commercial construction lending, including letters of credit, collateral pools, multi-phased construction, residential construction and multiple collateral properties. Experience with new market and historic tax credits a plus
Experience in Laser Pro loan documentation software
Strong technical expertise in documentation, closing and administrative functions, including thorough knowledge of lending process, commercial real estate and construction documentation, construction budget preparation, title insurance and appraisal/inspection compliance
Working knowledge of commercial lending best practices
