Salary: $95,000 - $126,000 Location: Seattle - Hybrid SUMMARY Leads the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the benefits & leave programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures that benefits, compensation & leave programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with strategic objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES includes the following; additional duties may be assigned: Develop, implement, and maintain benefits and leave programs and policies, may include salary administration and job classification systems. Manage and administer key employee benefits such as retirement plan, ESOP, bonus plan, medical, dental and vision plans, disability, and life insurance. Manage and assist with the annual salary review process and performance-based compensation programs to ensure the organization is competitively positioned in the marketplace. Manage the open enrollment process, ensuring a smooth and timely experience for employees. Audit enrollment data to ensure the accuracy of payroll deductions and vendor file feeds. Manage leave programs including FMLA, disability, parental leave, and other regulatory and company-specific leave policies. Monitor employee eligibility in all total compensation programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, reporting requirements, and internal policies. Develop and maintain benefit communications, employee handbooks, and other related documents. Collaborate with HR team members and other departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment of compensation and benefits programs with overall HR strategy and business goals. Develop and deliver communication plans to educate employees about compensation and benefits programs. May evaluate position descriptions to determine job classifications and pay ranges. May conduct total compensation benchmarking and market analyses to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry benchmarks. Analyze market trends, workforce data, and best practices to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing programs. Present information and updates to employees across all levels of the organization. Engage outside partners including insurance brokers, benefits vendors, and investment managers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to leave, compensation and benefits. Perform other duties as assigned. Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition of employment. QUALIFICATIONS Strong understanding of applicable federal, multi-state, and local laws and regulations. Strong knowledge of compensation strategies, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of five years' experience in compensation and benefits management or a related role. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS SPHR/PHR, SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP, CCP, CBP, or CEBS, desired. Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record. COMPUTERSKILLS Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
