Amazon SDS Operations Program Manager, Shipping & Delivery Support in Seattle, Washington

Description

Shipping and Delivery Support (SDS) is looking for a Change Manager who will support the execution and change implementation for the Delivery Partners WW. This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about positively influencing the lives of Delivery Partners, collaborating with various stakeholders, and effectively driving transformative change that impacts across the entire Amazon ecosystem. This role requires change management knowledge, executing change management and communication plans, coordinating and driving operational adoption, and communicating directly to senior leaders and project managers on change status, risk, and communication plan changes.

Key job responsibilities

• Execute approved change management plans; modify/create SOPs, guide stakeholders to established resources.

• Manage change tools and resources (intake forms, change calendars, team wikis) and track and communicate change adoption metrics results to senior leaders.

• Serve as SDS subject matter expert on change management plan creation and execution.

• Provide support and consultation to all leaders, program managers, and partner teams on a variety of change sizes (small, medium, large) and types (standard work/process, policy, system, metric/reporting, program launches and enhancements).

• Anticipate risks, develop and implement strategies to minimize disruption to the business.

• Leverage understanding of business line nuances and their employees to help prepare, manage, and sustain changes.

• Understand core business objectives, who customers are, and how metrics impact the services that are provided.

• Scope and report the impact of the change on the entire Amazon Ecosystem

Stakeholder Management

• Build and manage relationships with leaders and project managers and provide change management and communication counsel to stakeholders.

• Earn trust and gain “buy-in” and advocacy from senior leadership, and operations to support changes and influence without authority.

• Build relationships with key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses and geographies.

The Shipping & Delivery Support (SDS) team's vision is to ensure successful deliveries for Amazon customers and shippers by supporting customers, drivers, shippers, and Delivery Service Partners (DSP). We provide value by combining expertise in Amazon transportation services with the scale and support infrastructure of CS to achieve our mission of enabling successful deliveries, gathering intelligence to prevent future delivery problems, and preventing unnecessary concessions. Our organization includes world-class operations and technical teams supported by program manager, knowledge management, training, and business intelligence teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
