Description

The Amazon Private Brands (APB ) Core Tech Tools team owns core infrastructure and systems to improve and automate APB Intelligence operations. The team owns improving the technology and systems supporting APB’s product lifecycle management, catalog quality and product compliance workstreams.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will design and deliver technical solutions to support the compliance, sustainability, and quality spaces and driving LLM innovation across the APB organization. You will work on a wide variety of AWS technologies such as Bedrock,S3, DynamoDb along with Spark, Glue, Data catalog(Andes) and some Amazon internal frameworks and tools. We are looking for an outstanding individual who combines superb technical, communication, and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. We would expect you to understand, question and influence the technical roadmap while raising the bar on engineering systems.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
