Seattle Children’s Hospital Scheduling Coordinator, Senior in Seattle, Washington

Overview:The Senior Scheduling Coordinator is a tenured Scheduling Coordinator who delivers excellent customer service. Assumes all responsibilities of the Scheduling Coordinator with demonstrated performance at a higher level of independence, serving as a role model for team members, new hires, and Contact Center visitors. Takes initiative and possesses leadership qualities that enable them to serve as a point of contact for all scheduling partners and will be in direct communication with service lines to drive innovation and collaboration. Will actively participate in training new hires and performing demonstrations and serve as proctor for new hire classes. Responsible for scheduling accurate and timely appointments and providing an excellent customer experience for patients, families and clinical partners. Is a member of a scheduling team, with a primary location at either the Contact Center or the Hospital, but with responsibilities and rotations at both locations. Will provide valuable information and reassurance to families, while demonstrating empathy, a high attention to detail, success at multi-tasking, effective prioritization, and a commitment to working closely with a team.#LI-KR1RequirementsRequired Education/Experience: - Minimum one year in the role of Scheduling Coordinator/Family Service Coordinator at Seattle Children's. - Demonstrated success using computers and scheduling tools with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. - Models, meets, and exceeds all performance standards and expectations of the Scheduling Coordinator/Family Service Coordinator role.
