KeyBank SBA Express Relationship Manager in Seattle, Washington

Location: For Those Who Work At Home - Various, Ohio 44145 Partners with Business Banking Virtual Relationship Managers (VRMs) to focus on the acquisition of new clients with annual sales from $1 to $3 million. The SBA Express Sales Representative structures SBA loan proposals, prepares credit packages, and poises client relationship for deeper cross-sales by their VRM for a broad array of appropriate financial products and services. Serves as a resource, subject matter expert and advocate of SBA programs and products with KeyBank's retail staff. The SBA Express Sales Representative is a virtual role that reports to the National SBA Sales Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *Maintains an in-depth knowledge of SBA products and the SBA's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as well as basic knowledge of broader business banking products services. *Analyzes client's personal and business financial data gathered by Wellness Advisor team to determine credit quality and appropriateness of SBA financing. *Structures and prices loans that conform to SBA eligibility and bank credit policy guidelines *Prepares complete credit package and functions as client's credit sponsor with Business Service Center to facilitate the underwriting process through credit approval. *Understands KeyBank's value proposition and develops unique sales approaches that differentiates themselves in the marketplace. *Becomes proficient at uncovering what will motivate a prospect to purchase our services. *Manages client expectations for SBA products, actively listen to concerns, presents solutions to decision makers and overcomes objections. *Collaborates with various partners, to explain SBA lending programs clearly, ensuring client comprehension and knowledge. *Helps Business Banking Virtual Relationship Manager (VRM) build acumen to properly identify SBA loan opportunities through joint calling efforts and other collaborative opportunities including training. *Effectively builds client relationships in a fast paced, virtual environment through both telephone contact and e-mail correspondence. *Builds and maintains strategic relationships with all Key lines of business in order to effectively refer business and leverage partnerships to deepen and enrich the client experience. *Develops and maintains knowledge of competitive products and services as well as knowledge of competitors. *Meets and exceeds individual sales goals while contributing to the overall sales success of the team. *Adhere to established policies and procedures related to sales, regulatory compliance, quality, and sales client contact strategy. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS *BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant business experience. *Minimum two years of SBA lending or credit experience strongly preferred. *In depth knowledge of SBA Lending Products and the SBA Standard Operating Procedures. *Experience reading and analyzing business financial statements and tax returns. *Proven experience with and comprehensive understanding of commercial lending and small business operations. *Proficient in personal computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook *Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Demonstrated strong customer service skills. *Ability to achieve results in a dynamic, fast paced, high volume sales environment and can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal. *Excellent phone communication skills. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $76,000 to $100,000annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience.
