Additional Compensation Details: $26.00 per hour Dependent on Experience Potential 90-day performance-based raise Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure Responsibilities The Role This position encompasses the overall authority of the warehouse sanitation functions. Responsible for general housekeeping including but not limited to sweeping floors, cleaning up debris around the warehouse, cleaning up standing water, breaking down boxes and recycle, scheduled cleaning of freezer,ripening chambers, restrooms and lunchroom, using a forklift to empty garbage and check for pest control issues.Responsible for the completion of the daily SQF inspection log. Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To Following and demonstrating all safety protocols. Determine adequate personnel needs and staff as appropriate. Effectively train personnel and establish performance goals of subordinates. Maintain regular communications with operations team to ensure warehouse sanitation functions are satisfactorily. Implement necessary warehouse policy and procedures to effectively control operations. Develop and implement a trackable sanitation process. Review and inspect plant, equipment, and documentation, to insure they are all in compliance with Federal/Local Government Regulations and are in compliance with independent inspection guidelines. Develop, maintain, and achieve sanitation objectives. Conduct staff/employee meetings to monitor all aspects of sanitation functions. Scheduled cleaning of freezer, restrooms, and lunchroom. Using a forklift to empty garbage and check for pest control issues. Responsible for the completion of the daily SQF inspection log. Utilize power tools, we will train and certify, new hires on equipment to include electric pallet jack and forklift. Providing feedback to company managers and advising on sanitation changes. Coordinate the services of contractors and external cleaning crews. All other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Desired Minimum Qualifications: Able to read and speak English Ability to lift up to 70lbs routinely Ability to consistently work in a refrigerated environment 36 - degrees Ability to work in freezer environment with below zero temperatures (gear provided) for up to 30 minutes at a time 1-year previous warehouse or janitorial experience 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience required Forklift and pallet j
