What You'll Do:

The QHSE is an Industrial Sanitation position is responsible for completing tasks from the Master Sanitation Program. They support Production Supervisor with industrial sanitation needs.

This Night Shift position is scheduled from 9:00PM-5:30AM. Its primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning duties as set out on the master sanitation schedule for floors, drains, walls perimeters in the plant and warehouse meeting company, customer and government standards

  • Daily cleaning: i.e. tanks, pipes and equipment, (CIP and COP) and filling room floor.

  • Safe handling and documentation of chemicals used.

  • Careful use of water so equipment is not damaged

  • Removal and emptying of production garbage and debris

  • Manual and/or electrical pallet jacks

  • Maintain all sanitation documents in accordance with plant quality and safety requirements

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma of GED

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Able to work with or without direct supervision

  • Good organizational and mathematical skills

  • 1+ yearof food manufacturing sanitation requirements, CIP, COP and GMPpreferred.

  • Ability and willingness to follow, plant Quality, Safety and Security policies and guidelines

  • Able to effectively communicate with co-workers and plant management

  • Have a good mechanical aptitude

  • Able to work varied hours and overtime as required
