Responsibilities Schedule: 6AM-7AM start time. Shifts are typically 8-10 hours long. Must be able to work weekends and most holidays. Job Summary: Sanitation team members are responsible for general warehouse housekeeping and maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Sweeping floors, cleaning up debris in the warehouse, freezer, restrooms and lunchrooms Cleaning up standing water Breaking down boxes and recycle Use a forklift or riding pallet jack to empty garbage Check for pest activity Complete daily SQF inspection log Experience with Microsoft Suite Main equipment used is electric riding pallet jack, forklift, floor scrubber and scissor lift. Qualifications Here are a few things to be ready for (and don't forget we will train and certify you): Must be able to work independently and communicate with the rest of the sanitation team Willing to work near moving mechanical parts and in extreme cold (non-weather, warehouse temped at 36 degrees) Willing to be exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather, produce-related) Ability to work in environment with a usually loud noise level Capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to sacks/cases anywhere between 25-75lbs Ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, memos and write simple correspondence Ability to read/write/record data and perform simple mathematical calculations Must follow instructions, respond to management direction Reliable; consistently at work and on time Observes and follows proper safety procedures; willingness to report potentially unsafe conditions Hear from Charlie's employees Supplemental Information This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
