Job Description The Sales Representative sells the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of new & existing customer accounts to meet sales targets. Develop revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. Accountable for increasing sales/client ratio and expanding customer base. This position will be based in Seattle, WA. Responsibilities: Proactively identify and research new customer and new project opportunities, identify decision makers within prospects. Organize and participate in discovery meetings with clients in order to identify revenue opportunities, make recommendations, and determine next steps. Develops a business plan for each account. Prepare clear and effective written proposals and quotations for prospective and current customers. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of client business needs and offer the appropriate business solutions that help each achieve their strategic business goals. Recommend to clients additional solutions and services the company provides, highlighting the advantages of the product or service, utilizing internal tools and resources as needed. Develop sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers by working closely with a more experienced sales representative. Partners with internal resources to execute targeted deliverables within a timely manner. Provide extraordinary customer service throughout the sales process. Forecast accurately and maintain the system of record in Salesforce.com. Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to function of work. 1-3 or more years of relevant work experience, or completion of a Sales Associate Development Program or similar. An exceptional level of business acumen, motivation, competitiveness, customer-driven focus, time management, and multitasking. Industry experience preferred. Able to compile, analyze, and interpret results of data gathering. Must be good at identifying general trends and patterns that may need to be addressed by management. Clear knowledge of the selling cycle with the ability to make cold calls on a daily basis. Strong interpersonal skills; requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments. Desire to be a continuous learner of RRD's products & services. Able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions. Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance. Able to apply general functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools to complete work assignments. Salesforce.com knowledge and usage preferred.
